interested in joining a fast-growing family & elder law firm in
Beaufort, SC? With a strong presence in 15 locations spanning North
and South Carolina, we are in search of a professional to manage
cases related to estates, trusts, wills, and elder law specifically
in Beaufort. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with
a dedicated team of seasoned elder law attorneys and paralegals,
under the guidance of a senior Certified Elder Law Attorney. If you

Responsibilities:
--- Meet with potential clients to discuss the legal services
provided by the firm and offer advice on appropriate legal
actions.
--- Draft legal documents, research laws, and organize meetings
with clients to establish their future plans.
--- Prioritize customer needs to ensure they receive top-level
service, maintain regular communication, and collaborate with the
Client Experience team.
--- Provide creative solutions to clients' legal challenges by
analyzing their situations, understanding their requirements, and
developing a tailored strategic approach.
--- Accurately record and report time spent on hourly rate and flat
fee cases promptly.
--- Travel to various offices in the area as necessary.
--- Collaborate effectively with other attorneys to enhance your
practice.
Qualifications:
--- The ideal candidate should have at least 5-7 years of
experience specializing in estate law, demonstrating a high level
of expertise in independent tasks.
--- Possessing a law license in South Carolina is mandatory, with a
preference for dual licensure in North Carolina as well. Having a
CELA certification would be a plus.
--- Candidates must excel in teamwork, recognizing their
responsibilities to colleagues and clients.
--- Attention to detail and a willingness to go above and beyond
are crucial qualities. Our firm prioritizes client satisfaction,
necessitating a commitment to excellence from all staff
members.
--- Effective and sensitive communication skills are a
necessity.
--- Experience in estate planning, trust/estate administration,
Medicaid planning, and long-term care benefits is advantageous.
Litigation experience is desirable for handling guardianship and
estate litigation cases.
--- The ability to efficiently track and bill time is essential for
this role.
--- We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic and
the initiative to complete tasks independently.
--- Negotiation and communication skills are vital for success in
this position.
