Must have one of the following to meet CMS requirements for psychiatric nursing in the home care setting:An RN with a m aster's degree in a mental health nursing or psychiatric specialty . M ust have nursing experience in an acute treatment unit or other psychiatric setting.An RN with a b achelor's degree in nursing . M ust have one year of recent nursing experience in an acute treatment unit or other psychiatric setting.An RN with a d iploma or a ssociate 's degree in nursing . M ust have two years of recent nursing experience in a n acute treatment unit or other p sychiatric setting.Please note: Experience must have been within the last three to five years.
