Opening: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine (IM, FM, EM) Position Type: Locum Tenens Facility: ED Location: West Virginia Start Date: ASAP, pending approved privileges, 30-60 days privileging timeframe Length: 6+ months Hours: 7am - 7pm, 7pm - 7am Details: 173 hospital beds 22 ED beds 11 ICU licensed beds, 9 Open (No Intensivists, Hicuity Tele-ICU capability) Annual ED visits 18,000 28% Admission rate Acuity Level 3 APP shift coverage 7days per week, Mon-Wed 10a-10p, Thurs-Sun 11a-11p ED will respond to floor codes EMR used is Meditech Credentials: Active West Virginia medical license. WV DEA. Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Prefer non-ER trained physicians to have at least 1-year of ER experience. ACLS, BLS, PALS and ATLS required. ATLS not required if ABEM certified. Temporary privileges available for clean files.
