We are seeking an enthusiastic Veterinarian who enjoys general practice to be part of our community-based practice. Veterinary Medical Center of Hardeeville is positioned in a busy shopping center with high visibility, efficiently designed to meet the needs of our team, our patients and their owners. We are privately owned; our sole focus is pet healthcare - no boarding, no grooming, no retail. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service, client education and compassionate care, with no corporate interference. The Lowcountry boasts a variety of activities including historic & cultural experiences in the nearby cities of Savannah, Beaufort, and Charleston. The temperate climate allows for year-round activities. Responsibilities: Practice in accordance with state practice act and principles of veterinary medical ethics Use evidence-based medicine and continued pursuit of education to deliver quality patient care. Devote yourself to the culture of preventive care. Deliver medical and surgical treatments with approved pharmaceuticals, supplies and equipment. Partner with clients as an advocate for the pet to plan follow-up visits, provide homecare instructions and education to ensure the lifelong health of their pets. Maintain relevant, comprehensive electronic medical records with the support of practice system, AVIMARK Build and lead an effective veterinary team by communicating medical standards, ethical practices and sharing your veterinary knowledge & experience.
