Job Description:
Tact Staff is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a
travel job in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Description &
Requirements
Shift: 3x12s, 630a-7p, weekend days. Saturday/Sunday, and one day
through the week
Holidays: Traveler will be required to work at least one of the
holiday periods.
Thanksgiving: Thursday, Nov. 28 - Sunday Dec.1
Christmas: Tuesday, Dec. 24 - Thursday, Dec. 26
New years: Tuesday, Dec. 31 - Wednesday Jan. 1

Trauma Level REQ: Level 1 trauma
Certs REQ: BLS, NBSTSA (MUSC does Not accept NCCT), radiation

Locals accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the
posted bill rate
RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at the time of
submission. Approval will be based on facility's needs
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off one shift 2
weeks.-hours can be broken down to equal one shift
The Main Operating Room is within a level-one, academic trauma
center. There are 21- OR suites which cover all surgical
specialties, to include; Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT,
GU-GYN, and Robotics. The nursing teams consists of 75% Registered
Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologist. RN's are trained to
both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The Main OR is a busy
and dynamic nurse driven, Magnet designated department, that
provides cutting-edge technology to the citizens of SC.
*Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all
employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response
teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm
a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs
from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week
(subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be
